Capital One Venture X: How to Enroll in Hertz President's Circle

The Capital One Venture X is not only one of our favorite Default cards, it’s one of our favorite travel cards overall. Earning 2x miles on all purchases and no foreign transaction fees, it's great for your day-to-day expenses, at home and abroad.

But there are some great travel perks that come with the card, including automatic top-tier status with Hertz, the President's Circle. Here are the benefits you'll receive with your President's Circle Status:

Note: Hertz President's Circle will no longer be offered with a Venture X card after December 31, 2024.

  • Ultimate Choice President's Circle Aisle allows you to choose any car in the President's Circle Aisle when you book an intermediate car or higher.

  • 50% bonus points enables members to earn 1.5 points per dollar when renting a car. This bonus means earning a free rental day after only a $500 spend in rental rates.

  • Guaranteed upgrades to the next car-class when booking economy through standard cars.

  • Dedicated Hertz Customer Service line

  • Bypass the counter and go straight to your rental car

  • Free Additional Driver

  • 4-hour grace period for returns

If you have a Capital One Venture X, it's very easy to enroll in your complimentary President's Circle status with these steps:

  1. Sign into your Capital One account

  2. Click "Redeem" in the Rewards box

  3. Click "Benefits" at the top of the page

  4. Click "President's Circle Status"

  5. If you have an active Hertz account, complete the President's Circle registration form with your Hertz information. If you are not registered with Hertz, click "Enroll and get President's Circle Status" and follow the steps to sign-up.

You will receive confirmation of your upgrade to President's Circle status within just a few minutes.
