Amex Business Platinum 35% Premium Cabin Rebate

While transferring points to Amex’s travel partners is often how we find the most value, Amex Business Platinum cardholders have access to a 35% redemption bonus for premium cabin airfare booked through Amex Travel. This is not always the best option or highest value, but it does give the TravelWealth team more flexibility to find the best booking method for your itinerary. For example, we see domestic First Class bookings as a good opportunity to leverage the redemption bonus.

How can I take advantage?
To be eligible for the rebate, the flight must be booked through Amex Travel. You can choose to redeem points for the full fare or for a portion of the flight.

What type of airfare is included?
The rebate can be redeemed for:

• First or Business Class airfare booked with any airline

• Any flight in any cabin with your chosen airline for the $200 Airline Fee Credit.

How does the rebate work?
At the time of booking, Amex will deduct the full pre-rebate amount of points from your account, so you must have enough points in your Amex account to cover the full fare. Once booked, Amex will return the rebated points to your account in approximately 6 weeks.
